Electric Bike Place's Review: Angela's First Impressions

The 2021 IZIP Vibe 2.0 gives me the balanced, light feel of a conventional bicycle with all the power and fun of an e-bike.

This electric bike is a Class 1 model, meaning it has pedal assist with a top speed of 20 miles per hour. I find I am able to ride on a majority of paths with Michigan's cycling laws.

I find that where I like to ride is often flat with the occasional steep hill. West Michigan is near dunes, and the hills are a hurdle with a conventional bike. Honestly, biking uphill has never been easier with an electric bike. The Bosch Active Line mid-drive motor on the Vibe 2.0 provides enough push to climb most hills and the range to keep me going for a long day's ride.

The Vibe 2.0 offers an upright, almost sporty-like riding position. For some, that may mean bending your back more than desired. For me, it was a nice change of pace, and I enjoyed the large tires to help with any gravel or uneven terrain. With the entire frame being aluminum, I suggest a suspension seat post for some added comfort. Fenders and headlights would no go amiss as well.

Overall, the IZIP Vibe 2.0 is a sturdy and fun electric bike. I would recommend this model to anyone looking for an affordable, quality cruising e-bike.
